| The 2005 Trans-America Expedition was one of my life goals and one of the top life-changing experience I have had. I'm very proud to have done it on faith; riding solo - towing a trailer - and learning to ask for help from some of the most generous people in America. Cycling presents numerous facets of travel where life can touch us. The smells, the heat and cold, the bugs, the terrain and road surface, the wind and the rain all affect our thinking and our performance. Long distance cycling is also a wonderful test of faith. The logistics are certainly unknown, as are the meals and services. The most amazing thing to me was how actively God participated in my ride. It's one thing to recognize how divine appointments appear. It's another to feel the spiritual 'buzz' of a city coming and going by the ease of listening to your heart or your 'knower'. I found the daily 'provision' to be utterly amazing. Meals, directions, rest stops, storm fronts, funding and even flat tires all came at the exact moment they were supposed to. All I had to do was listen and obey. I hope you find the points of my story useful in your moments of decision. Click the media player to begin. Daniel
